change is the only constant
The seasons come & go 春夏秋冬; peace or war, boom or doom, love or unlove
Live every moment like there is no tomorrows 活在当下 笑看风云
Friends, lesser friends, acquaintances ~ come and go
There is no need for another enemy but losing a friend or two is part of life
We cannot choose who are, or will be, our friends but we can certainly choose who we like to associate with
In the eyes of the fiends, friends with benefits 只要有利用价值 are prized
I started life with little & it was tough; fended for survival, every efforts taken was altruistic & sincere
There is no free lunch ~ but there is every iota of a chance to succeed with sincerity & genuineness
Believe in yourself & believe in GOD
Pets are therapeutic & genuine; loyal, faithful & are 'forever friends'
You can make fun of them, 'kick & hit' them, put them through exercise regimes, mock them and mess up their furs & they'd remain your 'toy'; the extenuating toy without intent to hurt & injure
Do Not hurt the animals, however small
Live & let live apply to all living things
When I was young, I was told that ghosts are scary but as I live through the more than 60years, I can safely conclude that Man is scarier than ghosts
Japanese Unit 731, German Gas chambers, the British Colonials starved to death 60m-plus Indians, Cambodian genocide & others spoke volumes
Changes are inevitable but social engineering must be avoided at all costs
Financial markets underwent changes as greed, fraud, complacencies & the lacking of will to enforce definitive Laws plus "this time is different" caused miseries;
Tulip Mania (1636–1637, Dutch Republic), South Sea Bubble & Mississippi Company (1720, Britain & France), Great Depression (1929–1939), Black Monday 1987, Dot.Com Bubble 2000, Global Financial Crisis (2007–2008)
Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall
Will "This Time Is Different Holds"? The same song is repeated again & again... but the reality is all excesses must be corrected & a newfound balanced equilibrium augurs well in the long run
When the Rail Roads begun, there were promises of prosperity but after the initial euphoria, the excesses took 10 years to repair & rebalanced and so were the euphoric Industrial Revolutions
How do you reconcile the "promises of AI, their excessive valuations and future 'warrantied' revenues performances against the infrastructural demands like data centers, competitive needs of water for human, industrial & consumers uses and energy needs? The gestation periods for any equitable solutions will be lengthy and the competitive demands for natural resources could mean disruption & the survival of Man
Planned changes can be managed but abrupt changes are disruptions and distortions that could threatened to the entire ecosystem 大船转弯难 小船怕风浪
Will a sudden 'collapsed' of the financial markets happen? Life is a cycle and so are boom & doom. In every cycle, new tycoons are born and so are fools
Everyone wants to make money, but few want to do homework
There are fortunes [money] to be made everywhere
Ego & pride cannot make you rich
Too big to fail is a fallacy
Work smart, don't work hard
The safety-net of a secure salary package is an entrapment; you may make it, but you cannot make it [very] big
Making money is an Art as many a gutsy 'investor' died in a whiplash
There are no thrills in defeats
November has just begun ~ you've been there done that. Be the winner to write your story
