My Time Is Limited

nothing can predict and anticipate the future...

For someone who has not suffered any serious illness before, the first attack is both unbelievable and unsettling

GOD  has a way to stop any mortal on his tracks; HE served the second attack, followed by a third

You call this a trial or a warning; I don't know

Medical issues must be handled by the medical specialists; no amount of detest and "why me" nor superstitions help. Stay calm, seek medical professionals opinions and second opinions, then choose your course of action

Getting well again is the key; takes time though

Patient... be very patient and let it heal and trust GOD ~ HE stops you from racing blindly towards the end. You are not needed yet

No matter how fast you race ahead, clearing all obstacles & ignore wiser advice, HE will stop you with HIS ways [methods]

I had my share

No regrets but accept ~ nobody can swim against the tides

I am grateful for my renewed health but this also makes me 'more mortal'

活在当下  不求天长地久  只要潇洒过一生

When your health deteriorates or there is a sudden attack, it is a clear signal to "slow down, relax, rejuvenates, repairs and let your physical body reboot"   

There is a need to fine tune and rebalance the mind and your physique

Problems do not go away but manifest 

Circumstances may change to ease the obstacles & restore a balance ... sometimes, called "LUCK"

BUT, but... few are endowed with blessings of abundant luck

Almost everyone needs to manage and overcome the consequences to become better ~ there is 'no free lunch'

Walk away from unnecessary troubles, gossips, conflicts, hearsays and irrelevance 

Tomorrow will be better

Stay healthy, happy and be cheerful; tomorrow is never promised

Everyone at every ages make wishes & prays that the GOD will grant readily; me too

But, now my wish is to "stay healthy, happy and ignore the irrelevance of disruptive noises"

I can plan, I will work towards my goals but I have also accept that whatever comes is a bonus without which I loss nothing

I am trying to leave bondage and cultivate wisdom

The material well being is good to have but not in excess

无为无不为 I am not giving up but I will go with the flows

 

Some Day Soon, Everyone Will Be History

after I walked past, I may not return...

The trials and tribulations are passing moments ~ be patient, let go and be relieved of burden of hates and regrets

Today's gains maybe tomorrow's losses; you may win an argument but you loss the relationship

Never win a battle to loss the war

Home is not a place for reason(ings) but plentiful of 'gives and takes'. At most times, you give & the rest take 

Resentment, envy and hates are toxins that cannot be ignored but need to be neutralized

Fight against negative and you receive more negatives; fighting fire with fires is possible if you are prepared for colossal destruction

Put on a mask, build a facade and face the unreal world

Speak to the audience & please their ears; music to their ears is better than any orchestra. Delivering a successful sales pitch is an Art; "no best deal can be adopted if its too truthful"  甜蜜的谎言

见人说人话 见鬼说鬼话 ~ 这世界真正喜欢听好听的话 不是真话

In psychology, it's empirically proven that the "Man loves to loss". 

Before he starts to gamble, he'd say "at most I loss $10,000". He places his stake and wins... he'll bet bigger. Finally, he will attempt a "double or quit or show-hand". Why? He is prepared to loss

Nobody can help unless he has the resources and abilities; be empowered

Built your resources; with excess resources, you can 'buy' labor and solutions 

Every steps I take, I leave a footprint [along the path]

Every praises and criticism are not my choice; safely ignore

Words never hurt but being emotional is inherently damaging

Victory is sweetest when glory returns ... but, enjoy the small victories too

Never indulge in regrets nor let others words affect you

Whether you are 21yo or 71yo, live your best today and everyday

Growing old is a privilege as not everyone live to see their twilight years

If you don't explore & build your pipeline of achievements, defeats included, you may have no memories to recall nor story to tell

My future is dictated by my current mental and physical capabilities; there is no chance to rush as, sometimes, the spirit is willing but the physique limit

Be Discipline Or Be A Failure

discipline or the lack of discipline can be fatal...

Theory, philosophy, great teachings aplenty but without discipline and conscientious application, it is void 

No amount of learning helps unless  it is applied with discipline and honesty

It is like giving you the map and direction but you'd still get lost

I have taken lengthy routes to reach where I am today, with some hits and misses

The world is never stagnant and every ten years (cycle), you will take monumental changes; sometimes not by choice

If there is nothing better to do, remain still ~ alas! an easy idea but few can consciously practice

If there is nothing better to say, say nothing & never say anything when you're angry nor make promises when you are happy

I have paid dearly for lack of discipline

Never seek recognition for fame, power and money; foolish vanity pays bad dividends

When you are down, lie low and guard your last penny; read, listen & watch more, speak less 

You may be born poor but the world is yours to conquer; it is your own doing if you die poor(er)

Never indulge in idle gossips nor bask in fortuitous compliments - such words have no bearings and only return to haunt when the hustle is over - a hollowed happiness 空虚

Humans thrive on hopes, promises, potentials, dreams, possibilities ... but, there is a patent need to work & crystalize them

No amount of hard work can replace smart judgements and strategic, streetwise decisions

Alas!! Some days are simply bad

Regrets cannot save a sinking boat; only patience, grit and wisdom can salvage the situation

不要脸就是无敌   When you can adamantly ignore the criticism, displeasure and belittlings, nothing hurts   ~   脸：不是人给的而是自己丢的

Confidence and smartness, I have but with repeated defeats I will crash too

My suave facade hides a crashed internals 

At times, I wished I can walk away into the wilderness to heal but reality is always cruel

It is a "now or out" game; stay cool, breathe easier and look blankly but smartly

The eyes of the eagle never betray

Hold the facade & fort and let the internal heals ~ pain is temporary

70% of the world is not interested in a failure while 20% is glad that you fail... the 10% cannot be found

You came alone, die alone and, needless to say, suffers alone

Keep your head down when you are lost (a loser) but look straight, recompose, heal, rejuvenate and return a  WINNER

Winning is everything

The winner is not the strongest nor the smartest but the one who outlasts everyone

Positive Attitude Wins Any Day

If you think you can [do it], half the battle is won

The King of the Jungle, the Lion, believes it dominates & rules and can eat any other species

The world is not bothered with your self-esteem and self-actualization. You are expected to demonstrate and display your quality

Even with the best FengShui风水, waiting to be discovered is a lost cause

The truths must stand out against the fakes; the earlier the better to ease future consequences, made worse by half-truths, self-entitlements and ulterior motives

Do your best 做好本分 ~ the army cannot fight on empty stomachs and the Chef keeps their spirits going  ~ the spirit is willing but the body is weak. The wok is as powerful as the guns

Fortune foretelling, occult, soothsayer and the likes can, or may, tell your future but what's the point of knowing if there is no solutions to possible bad outcomes? Believe in yourself that you are the definitive decider

You are born to express, not to impress. If all else fails; my life, my rules ~ bend a little isn't impossible

Need not be arrogant but you must take a stand... a "no" is a "NO" 没事就没事 有事可成大事 Never gamble with your (own) integrity, credibility and moral inclinations

Winning is everything and do your utmost zest to win... without underhand tactics and schemes

Whatever is yours shalt be yours

I am a fighter, a warrior; never a coward with traitorous thoughts

I live 'forever' and only die once  ~ between being born and dying, I wanna live my dreams and crystalize my goals

Breathe.. breathe, let go of stress! You deserved a good, free life, void of unwanted interference; a positive attitude wins all

There is no hardship in life; it's all about attitude. Get it right and get going; no one can stop a runaway train

Never gamble with outright risks - Starting from zero to zero is zero, but strive to win by at least ONE. It motivates

Beggars haven't much choices but, without life, you can't even be one. Live to fight another day

Sometimes, I feel that I want to live another 50years but I reminded myself that quality beats quantity & I'm living it now. If HE calls me back now, I wouldn't be able to refuse but, perhaps, with a few brownie points collected over time, slight extension is still possible

Suffer Not : You Are The Decider Of Your Life

In the rat race, when you fall along/on the way, too bad

Nobody's gonna pity you and you can step aside, rest and return to the race or opt out

The dishing out of vouchers, rebates, discounts, offers of helps and assistance are 'cosmetic' assistance that do not cure the problems

Unemployment & underemployment of locals are painfully real and destroy the morale, self-esteem, integrity and 'the feeling of usefulness'

Glorifying the MBAs, tertiary-educated who 'choose' to drive Private#Hire#Drivers, deliveries and to do sundry & part time work is demeaning, at best! No pity for you who fall by the wayside 

Reality is always cruel but to be an unprioritized, second class citizens, who gave much to the Nation, including serving NS, is indeed a complete 'sold-out'; there again, sadly, "you asked for it". If nobody, or fewer, vote for Trump, he will not be the President

When things go wrong, don't start to blame the world except yourself

You, YOU, are the change agent

You cannot change the world without changing yourself ~ YOU are the catalyst 

Don't seek pity; fight the unfairness, challenge the bullies, unseat the Reps, overthrow the deadwood & freeloaders. From zero to zero, you loss nothing 光脚的不怕穿鞋的

When you ask or beg for help, you are at someone's else mercy & your well being is being questioned & ransomed

Fight to win & restore your direction and change your fate ~ be the author of your own life

The world loves a WINNER; losers bite the dusts

The wealthy will always say "be contented, count your blessings, be glad that you have what you have...!" Wisdom indeed; so they are 

Don't expect pity, empathy maybe 

It is unfortunate that in a rush to get/move ahead, selfishness and greed rule. The elites feel entitled. The middle class are squeezed and the others 'live with the crumbs'  

The earlier you accept that the world will never be equal, the happier you will be

Do everything within your means; without bondage, life and living is a breeze 

You are (can be) empowered to reroute your life if you try

By the way, Do your Best & Leave the Rest for GOD/He is always there to sort out

Life is never miserable if you recognize your limits

Go slow... slow down a little ~ we are all walking towards the end 

Between being born and returning (death), you can make your own choices & be the author of your life

 

 

 

Whatever Doesn't Matter, Doesn't Hurt

Willing buyer, willing seller is an ideal

Buying and selling is emotionally driven and so is boy/girl, friends & family relationship

The negative effects of shopping therapy is excessive buying, made worse by compulsiveness

If, and when, your wallet can afford it, nobody and nothing get hurt

Finding the right partners in business and life is nearly impossible except if one, or all, are accommodating ~ ideal partners look out for one another

Greed, selfishness, ego and lackadaisical attitude almost always undermine any relationship

How to overcome relationship issues? Avoid the toxic ones

In the beginning, everyone hunts alone

It is the expectation of a larger harvest that resources are pooled and specialization kicks in ~ the factory concept that more are produced and traded

But, every industry & every aspect of life needs a Leader, either solely or to lead the pack

There will always be differences when you work with people - Theory X & Theory Y; the freeloaders vs the initiators   

At extremes, Capitalism and Socialism are bad

At personal level, survival of the fittest warrants everyone to care and love oneself before extending your generosity to others & outsiders

We are taught to trust but many fell for scams and cheats because of trusts. Trust no one is a necessary survival kit

If you are not paid or rewarded materially or in kind for your efforts, don't do

Many are leeching on charity and charitable acts to enhance their own well being and wealth

Exploitation is the norm ~ politicians exploit the people's trusts, internet scams prey on human weaknesses and gullibility and weak people will almost always suffer exploitation

The world forward will be populated by the selfish, self-entitled, egoistic grandiose ~ those with grandiose narcissism; aggressive, dominant, and exaggerate their importance.

The best defense is NOT to give them any attention - ignore them completely 

Whatever you don't receive or allow indulgence doesn't matter and never hurts

This is life: 吃喝玩乐

吃 - eat to live, not live to eat

喝 - drinking, without excessiveness, is poetic relieve & enjoyment

玩 - it's not just about play but to create a balance between the physical and your mind

乐 - pleasure without excessive indulgences develop a healthy balance of mind and body

You  can do all the above by yourself, not necessarily with groups or others

Relieve yourself from bondage and nobody can enslave you

Are Your Friends A Wolf Or A Fox?

fight or flight is not my cup of tea...

I am not afraid to fight nor will I take flight at the drop at the of a needle

But, I only do 'no holds bar' fights ~ fight to win ~ attack is the best defense 

War is always cruel and blood flows mercilessly; friends or foes

Perpetrators and provocateurs must be destroyed & decimated

The lesser the expectation, the lower the disappointment

There is no need to scam to succeed but the slimy fiends will do everything to gain advantage and to floor the less suspicious and trusting ones

The world is spinning faster and the poor are getting poorer ~ The richest 1 percent grabbed nearly two-thirds of all new wealth worth $42 trillion created since 2020, almost twice as much money as the bottom 99 percent of the world’s population, reveals a new Oxfam report today (2023). During the past decade, the richest 1 percent had captured around half of all new wealth - Oxfam International

Is this not the reason why more resort to scams & schemes to outwit one another? Survival of the fittest is today's anomaly; dog eats dog is the in-thing and normalcy

Remember those who gave you a push when you were down and be grateful 饮水思源 - A drop of water is enough to save a dehydrated person 

The chinese character "One person" is 人 and 仁 ["benevolence"] is pronounced as "ren" too

Whatever everyone do, you must consider the impact on others 人与仁 [pictorially more than one persons] - no man is an island 

见微知著 You can stop things from escalating when you intervene early but if you allow it to manifest,  intervention may be too late and not able to ringfence the situation

A person with bad character can be easily tempted at your expense; you're his convenient sacrificial lamb

In this disruptive time, it helps to reserve some suspicions instead of pouring all out to help and trust

Trust no one until time proves otherwise

A Master once told me "you are a fighter and you fight well but you shouldn't waste your energy trusting everyone and henceforth needs to wrestle back in due course"

Let us start with a dream, a goal, an ideal 可遇不可求 & pursue earnestly, within our means

Alone, you cannot achieve all; 人与仁 you need others to achieve your ideal ~ the synergistic effect

君子不一定要除掉每一个小人 但必须懂得利用人才。 不用战胜 只要不输

When you tie a knot, untie it. Do not cut. It will never be the same again

Believe in yourself

The world is yours to gain and conquer

Seek the right direction

Some day soon, you will succeed

If/When you are too trusting, you could be the meal of the perpetrator and scammer

You can trust the wolf but never a fox; both look fairly alike but the scheming Fox will eat you alive whereas the Wolf is loyal

Economics is not an exact science and it's predictability is influenced by the X-factor; the changes in human behavior. Economics' Ceteris Paribus  - "with other conditions remaining the same; other things being equal"

Human is a migrative and mobile animal and the only constant is 'change'; henceforth economics is a social science

The earlier you accept change and inequality as norms, the happier your life will be

People talk and gossip and the toxic ones smear ~ remember; brick and stones break bones, not words. Ignore them and gives no attention 厚脸皮是最无敌

Sometimes, we over-provide, cares too much, try to be perfect and adamantly deliver our promises only to be 'milked and betrayed', then what? Regret? Fumed? NO, No... Let go your magnanimity and 'stupidity' and learn to be miserly on 'trying to be too good' to doing enough and being practical 

放下笨己 立地成精  难的糊涂

Do your best and leave the rest [to GOD]. If you did not do your best and fail, the problem is  "YOU"

Man cannot be consistently happy nor sad but if any preferred thoughts are ingrained knowingly, the etched mind follows 

Emotions have to be managed & there is a most appropriate time 待时而动 to response

无助感 Do not make too hefty demands on oneself & go with the flows; there is no perfection nor permanence

无力感 When you are, or get, defeated too often, you'd resigned to fate  心有意而力不足 Change your approaches and redirect your energy but still Go With The Flow

Come whatever may, remain resilient, positive, cool & calculated and awaits (your) opportunity

In life's journey, count your blessings

When you have not expectations, you will have lesser to nil disappointments

As you go along, be prepared to dump "parasites & pests" -types acquaintances

Stay healthy; HEALTH grease life's journey

 

 

Stock Up Your Energy - Live Abundantly

 Nothing lasts forever; don't push your luck too far...

When you:

Betray your partners and friends to get ahead

Quietly retain mutually earned earnings/incomes 

Harbour ambitions to displace your partners instead of cooperating to achieve mutual success and gains

All these shalt surface in due course and Karma will visit especially if whatever you usurp is not yours (entitlements)

Nobody is a fool and, whatever you do, be prepared to face his 'nuke' response

There are opportunities in every situation 危机  When your trusting friends bring you into his inner circle to harvest an opportunity, count your blessings

Your bosses give you the opportunity to perform and line the rewards & promotions accordingly

Your partners offer opportunities to enrich, grow and prosper together

No Man can succeed alone & in isolation

Be humble, be honest and share the spoils ... drop & drops of water fill the ocean. You cannot take all or you'd drown; ask Steve Jobs ~ how he watch the machine slowdown, his life ends and his money left behind

In this compact time, everything move faster, news & misinformation flood incontinently. No one can react spontaneously without suffering a burning out

DON'T, don't rush to react ~ let the ill winds blow pass and leave the uncertainties to settle 

Rest if you must; never quit

Be happy, cheerful and positive 

Come whatever may, with health, everything is possible

Entrepreneurs believe that whatever they're doing, they are sure "bets" and will succeed. If true, why are there bankruptcy? Its part of the journey - some will shine while others die

Being employees, you are paid for your efforts though rewards are fairly limited but almost always smooth  

I was termed the 'entrepreneurial employee' during my employment days. Why? My boss wanted to double my salary but I turned down his offer. I asked for minimum pay but commission sharing. Ultimately, I gained exponentially

Being alone is an Art; alone is not void nor loneliness

Everyone is strongest when he is alone... when you are lost in the thick jungle, you'd find your way out

When you are caught in the crossfire, you will crawl out alive

Don't worry about loneliness... if you are rich/wealthy, people from the distance will visit you, however isolated you maybe

Be fair, be magnanimous & be righteous

Tomorrow is yours to live ~ live  and be blessed abundantly

In Turbulent Times, Stay Calm & Healthy

Omigosh! I am experiencing a faster pace in changes than before

Is it an imagination or are these monumental changes that happened together? Guess, the compact of time and the speed of readily available information are causing fleeting changes

Keep calm, remain steadfast and watch the flow; change only where necessary but timely

The stress of following and changing with the changing situation is backbreaking and mind boggling 

As nothing is static, you may be forced to return back to the start point; henceforth whatever you've undertaken are likely to be a waste of resources

 Unless, you are prepared to waste away the resources, frustration and regrets will get you

Alas!! Many will not willingly, and most cannot afford to, stomach the losses 

Slowly but surely, I am adjusting to the flow; I accept at face value and delay reacting ... alittle

Water flows from the high point to low & to the seabed. If you (water) are at the source, don't expect to stop somewhere along the way ~ it is calmest at the seabed, not forever though

Whatever I don't know, doesn't hurt 

I see opportunities when others see threats and failures & offer alternative solutions to forgone, hopeless and written-off issues

No, NO.... no, I am neither brave nor strong but I am tapping and blending into natural forces to minimize energy burnt out. Have you wonder how & why geese fly as a flock in V-formation to thousands miles away and arrive well? That reduce wind resistance and give more mileage. The tired leader retreat to allow new ones to lead during the journey

For as many months, I was flooded with defeats, disappointments and abrupt changes and I almost drop out, if not dead

[In this trying time, even warning against genocidal acts were ignored and no one was able, nor willing, to stop the aggressor; the world's lip service screamed in vain [Israel continue to attempt to exterminate the HAMAs/Palestinians and ignored UN call to stop. US only provided advisory. To exact support & to forcefully draw in its allies, Israel attacked Iran's consulate in Syria. Iran responded with drones attack on Israel but was thwarted by Israel, US, Britain and Jordan]. Such is the hypocrisy of Life.] 

I you can't do much to change the situation, retreat, stay-safe, hibernate and wait... good or bad, all shalt pass. Your priority is to STAY ALIVE and live well when others live worse  

I am turning disappointments into positive energy

I thank GOD that I awakes to witness another new day and my victory is near 天助我也

My duty is to stay healthy and let the ill winds blow pass

Good Times Is Around The Corner ~ Success

I thought I knew the way forward...

With confidence, experiences and knowledge, i move forward with oomph and style

I select an optimal team who are specialists in-themselves to work on the broad strategy and to journey together

I have demonstrated to them the high probability of success but... it's a journey, not a pit stop

Alone, I has no magic; it's teamwork and a global dream ~ the unicorn is illusive

I learnt that I need to meet someone's else needs; any needs that manifest into wants become/are invaluable demands

The price of meeting another's needs is limitless

Sell beauty to women and vitality to men and you will laugh all the way to the bank

Man proposes, GOD disposes 天助我也 ： 天时地利人和 也需要有好运

Some have it easy with success while others are put to tests. If there is a Destiny, then why bother to try and seek? It's because GOD needs to legitimize HIS givings ... that you have done and tried

Always remember: GOD is watching but HE is forever not bribeable. It doesn't mean that just because you attend Church/House of God regularly, say your prayers earnestly or make huge offerings, all your prayers will materialize

The Dalits, beggars, the commoners and the sundry will also be heard

We are all made differently, here for a purpose and with fairly dedicated role-plays

Man are bonded to fame, wealth and power ...and will kill to wield influence and dominance while animals only kill for food. Until Man frees himself from bondage, greed, ego and selfishness will lead to self destruction

As every Man is an Economic Digit whereby he needs to hunt  and  provide for his dependents & family, the earlier he becomes self-sufficient and need not worry about his next meal, the more he can let-go & share 人心本善 人性更善

I'd like to opine that everyone has a soft spot, however evil he may be

Conflicts, betrayals, disloyalty, greed, selfishness and ill-intents are underlying weaknesses of a weak person - tricks and trickery are their hidden weapons

Religion - that GOD of yours - only motivates you to be good

I am guided by The Light of GOD in my Heart, to steer towards doing only the good and right things, be righteous and avoid temptations and distractions... but, I am, afterall, a human and has flaws

I provide no excuses but I will have to face judgement with my Creator in due course

Above all, I march eagerly, confidently and forcefully towards my goals, for which the direction must be correct  

Generally speaking, ALL prayers are answered; it's only the timing ~ so, watch out what you are hoping for

I maybe a little impatient 

I am looking for more successes; it's the gumption that says... "it's around the corner & ... soon"

Keep going, soon all shalt be

Do whatever you want so long as you didn't prick your conscience and betray your creed

ALL of us are unique creations, set to achieve certain goals and are given specific roles; be at your best人生本来就是一场戏 做好本分

Tomorrow is never promise
