winning is everything ...
How come I hardly win or make it despite every conceivable efforts spent? Guess, I would not make excuses; make results ...waiting for better days
I have been dreaming big, taking every opportunities that come: A winner is a dreamer who never gives up
I have been patient, suffering from disadvantages quietly and taking 'punches'. It's to win wars & forgive battles...
I win most times; either I win or I gain experiences. Sometimes you win; sometimes you LEARN
Do not quit; rest if you must. Effort & attitude win & overcome all obstacles
The best and hardest work do not necessarily translate into desired results: Winning is 90% hard work & 10% Luck; without luck little can be achieved
Winner takes all: When you win, nothing matters
The way to peace and harmony is to humour the challenges. Everytime you find humour in a crisis, you win ~ go with the flow
To stay afloat, to continue the journey and to seek a harmonious ecosystem, I stay simple. You are born to win unless you give up...simplicity is also a win

Success - Methods
....live to fight another day
There are no living heroes
There is no point in gaining recognition posthumously as a dead man will soon be forgotten
Are we to fight for recognition for everything we do; perhaps yes but you can never demand for it
The best reward is to be able to extend help and relieve others of sufferings...they'd remember you
In death everyone is equal...the grave is as big and you bring nothing along
Man seeks recognition not for fame but dignity, value and worthiness
The social classes and divides are permeable as many can float through the stratas
The good, the bad and the ugly wants to be recognised and belonged
We are all social animal
Our ability to reach the apex is limited by the thickness of our hides & the shrewdness of our moves
Cars and houses are status symbols & so are jewelleries
Food and water are basic staples that feeds the 'Haves' & the 'Have-Nots'
It's the poor that work the fields to supply food but it's commerce that enriched the upper-class
Then, why so are there poverty? It's the result of selfishness and greed
When food is hoarded, people suffer
Success has no fixed formulas
The power to succeed and success lies within
You can fight to win [the powerful and well endowed]
You may submit to win too [the physically & materially weaker ~ fire weakened the steel]
You...& YOU are the determinant of your own success
Of course, failure is easiest; Do Nothing
I am who I am
I live as the blade of grass swinging & bending in the breeze, not the grand oak tree
The spirit of freedom, conquest and free from bondage transcends all
Let you not be tied down to material allures nor be emotionally cringed
You only live "ONCE"; live the best
Man proposes; God disposes
But, for most times, Man proposes beyond their ability & capabilities
"No expectation, No frustration" is a notable phrase; just try your best
Wishing for the best and always be prepared to push the frontiers

Share & Let The World Be A Better Place
There are many who think 'old' is synonymous with uselessness, dependence, immobility and 'discardable' ~ kinda of a sin
The situation is exacerbated by some Government's perception and representation of the old as dependents
Strangely, the world over, politicians are valued higher as they aged but not the working class
Wisdom is not a monopoly of the political class
Why would the world that dismantle the class-divide be divided again in this age? This is the problem of a hugely differential income-gap
The Gini Coefficient is getting larger
The Pareto Principle no longer exists [see below]
Just 62 people, 53 of them men, own as much wealth as the poorest half of the entire world population - or 3.6 billion people - according to a report released by anti-poverty charity Oxfam.

Ancient is old but without water, there's no life
Without the elders and aged, where do you young & younger ones come from? The old exists for a purpose & are an oasis of experiences
Today's elders are generally healthier, better off and more mobile
The poor are not beggars and always prefer to lead a simple life
The rich & powerful attempt to dominate the commoners but this will last as long as there are enough to go around
The rich cannot live in a sea of poor
The poor may suffer willingly within their endurances & take the punches
The middle class just look toward 'alittle' luxury after much struggle
Why would the elites and ruling-class think they can overrun and dominate the mass? There must be empathy, fairly equal sharing and plentiful to go around
No man's an island
This world will be a better place if everyone 'care, share and give' instead of hoard
The youths have time and energy; go forth and multiply and 'conquer the world'
The Mid-ages are holding the forte, growing the pie and supporting the ecosystems
The elderly are an oasis of experiences & a guidance to preempt untimely failures
Whether its Ruling Class, Working Class or the Commoners ~ you come naked & can never bring along whatever you hoard
Man proposes; God disposes
Be fair; take what's rightfully yours but leave plentiful to others
Rich or poor, you cannot bring along & nothing is absolute

How To Win & Stay Alive
what can be worse than dying or waiting to die...
Many people complain about next to nothing and everything sundry
The figure out somehow their lives is worse than everybody or they're down in the pit
They think death is the exit & solution and curse the worldly and the Godly for their plights
Why? How did they reach the spot with No "U-turn"? It's really just imagination
Go to the hospice and see how grateful the in-patients feel when they welcome another day
Go to the mortuary and 'ring the alarm clock' loudest and check if any of them are able to wake up
Visit the prison and learn for yourself that the prisoners cannot just walk out & away like you
Travel to a famished locale or a war-torn area and feel the scarcity of food & water
Positive begets positive
The more negative you are or indulge, the deeper your desparateness and hopelessness
You hate your mother, your father, your family...you blame the whole world except yourself
What do you think if you are left alone in this world; will your life be any better? Think hard
Do not wait until your parents are gone then you wish 'I can talk to them & share!'; gone forever
Do not deliberately and stubbornly challenge your parents even you know you are in the wrong
The intentional causing of disharmony and spiking the relationship will haunt you someday... as
As someday, you may be the father or mother experiencing the exact reflection of what you'd done
KARMA 因果 has no menu; you harvest whatever you planted
"Look at the prairie, the green grass, the blue sky, the little children playing and the birds chirping" said the immobile, terminally ill patient looking out of his bedside window. This brought laughter, care and light heartedness to other patients around him.
After he passed away, another patient requested a change to the same spot. He saw...a tall wall & nothing more
The walls between the cells in the prison are damn intimidating, crowded and soul-breaking. Sentences varies from weeks to years to permanent life sentences. Worst are those waiting to die (gallows). One prisoner who was sentenced to 9 years imprisonment due to the miscarriage of justice (read : set-up) decided since Day 1 to greet & shout; "Good morning Shanghai, such an awesome sight of the Bund and the lights. Stay healthy and have a great meal"
Some years past and some prisoners were transferred to his cell as 'per their request'. They discovered that the cell is no different from theirs
Attitude changes everything; you can blame the world or anyone for your predicaments but you (& you ALONE) can lead a happy life or be miserable until your time is up
Just Do Your Best and care & share with your loved ones
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, stay calm & think positive
Like night, day shall returns...change is the only 'permanence'
Everyone must live to tell their tales
If you can't change the situation, adapt into the environment; blend in
Alone is NOT lonely; Empty is NOT void
The biggest and most formidable challenge is You, YOURSELF
If you cannot adapt yet refuse to change your attitude, how do you expect to win? The world loves a winner

Live Healthily ~ Be Happy
Age is a digit that keeps adding & never drops
Health and mobility is constantly declining
As much as you wish to upkeep and maintain your bodily capabilities, you can only slow the decline
生老病死 The natural cycle of Birth, Aged, Sickness, Death aptly define life metamorphosis
For whatever reasons, as age catches up, our bodily health declines; slowing down is a must
However, nothing destroys more than a bout of illness
The worst is not illnesses but the giving up of "The Will" to live
Living healthily includes happiness
No one can live healthily if the mind is clouded with doubts, worries and problems
Many pray to God for 'Good Health' but live in the shadows of doubts
Where negative vibes build, the Soul cannot be 'well & fine' but it's spirit undermines
Only birth and death is beyond our decision
没有做不到的事 只有还没想到
But, without good health, many things are fairly impossible
心有多大 舞台就多大
I was poor but built my way up 白手起家
Educational qualification/papers were collected along the way; from Lambaga to VITB to Private colleges & Uni
Work was a breeze as I made it so; the hunger to succeed superceded any iota to complaint
Survival and prosperity were on the same side of the coin
I had survive the onslaughts of challenges; real, fake & sinister
Nobody will stand by you when your cards collapse but your family & a couple of bosom friends, if any
Some money in-hand comes in handy when life hits the pit
Back to the basics is a lesson; well taught & learnt well
Life wasn't lonely but alone
Like day & night, we must persevere.
For tough days don't last, tough people do
There are no hero
All heroes are dead & remembered
When life gets rough, stay cool and calm
Nobody sails through the eye of the storm without being shaken

Men quarrel over two things; woman or money
Women quarrel over anything; things they disagree with, not necessarily right or wrong
Success also brings along fresh perspective and new problems
Failure is simple and decimate future problems & also evaporise your future
There is a price for everything, may not be dollars along but efforts
Rich & famous do not mean problem-free
Howard Hughes - tycoon, aviator, philanthropist, recluse needed to be identified at death
Casey Johnson - heiress to Johnson & Johnson, died at age 30
Frank Sinatra - suffered depression and mood swings & tried committing suicide twice
Callie Rogers - strike $3mil lottery at age 16 & messed up her own life on coke
钱不是万能 但没钱是万万不能
Leslie Cheong - singer, reportedly left behind HK$600mil, suicide
钱多不一定没问题 有时候就是钱惹的祸
The empty mind is the devil's workshop
When the basics are fulfilled, newer wants are created & greed breeds
Expectations may not be rational but exceptional
Demands are made, logic aside
The human mind must be kept busy and filled with some worries and projections

Get up and get going; go forth and conquer the world
The togetherness is to build good health, positive mind and a friendly network
There's nothing about wealth nor money
A lot efforts are 'put into' training and getting together

Do not earn wealth to pay for health
Stay healthy for a better tomorrow
Money can buy many things but you cannot employ another person to 'suffer your sickness'
Steve Jobs has all the money in the world but his wealth cannot 'bribe' his cancer away
Do not leech on, nor envy, your friends & siblings
God willing, everyone will succeed within their abilities

Ironies Of Life
the month of May came and went ...effortlessly and unknowingly
It's June - half a year into 2016
What have you done in the past five months that have added positively to your well being
What were the setbacks that almost 'drown' you, if any
Could life has be crafted better or, perhaps, even worse
God does not have a mid-term report card for anyone of us
Whether it's good or bad, better or worse, somehow it will keep changing
When you can't let-go, it means you can still shoulder the weight/pain 放不下是因为还能扛得住
Easier said than done; I walk away from trying situation as far as I possibly can
When I can't, I manage it and prayerfully it will not implode & nuke my life
But...
I have long accepted that 'if I give in, avoid it determinely, try to minimize any damages, take some punches, yet it implode' then, the cleaning and rectification re-starts! Not a choice sometimes
What if death occurs? Death is also a solution, unfortunate though
Sometimes, the victim dies, at others, the perpetrator
Man proposes, God disposes
The reality is "you may want to stay neutral, be supportive or even accept disadvantages" does not mean you will be left alone peacefully ~ undisturbed
该来的一定回来 该发生的总是会发生
Let's face it: nothing kills you but it can make you really miserable
If misery can kill you (a person), then why are there still so many malnourished, underprivileged miserable people in the in Africa and North Korea? Irony...
The physical disadvantages do not maim
The emotional shortcomings kill
Envy is worse than jealousy
Ego/Pride is worse than principle
I am walking through a very trying period; not physically nor financially but emotionally
I guess,the problem is I have provided too much care and comfort that the freedom from worries transformed into gossips, innuendoes and unreasonable demands from my 'closest'
I am waiting patiently to walk away from this ...slow cooker
Someday, when I am not around & have departed from the debacle
The nostalgia would be "...wow, when he was around...so good..so good..& so good..."
Then life would have come a full circle
I will become HAPPY again
Isn't this an irony?!!? I share all to make everyone happy or as 'comfortable as possibly can'
But, with freedom, maybe I should call this 'boredom', came mischief
Let the cards collapse & let the future takes form
I have done my BEST
Long after everything falls into place, I will have my last laugh

If you are lazy, indifferent and see problem before you see opportunity

it's muddling ...it's mind boggling
The sudden string of earthquakes & the repeated volcanoes eruption over the globe
From Mynmar to Pakistan and China
From Japan to Equador & stretch into Tonga and Afghanistan
Many worry that they have no money but, with 'Good Health', money can be found when efforts are sold or bears fruits
Without health, many are living dead活生生 though fairly rich
You really cannot eat 'money' nor buys health with it
My bucket of wishes; the 'DOs & DON'Ts' is fluid
Of late, many asked if I've retired and I am kinda unsure
What is 'retirement'? I am actively seeking economic opportunities and struggling to find income

I am seeking inner peace and struggling to develop 'a mind of indifference空'
I wanna leave worries behind an 'plough the land to seek peace and harmony'
Fame, power, money and recognition is a fool's gold
Temporary-ness and instant satisfaction is like the last breathe..here and gone in a moment
Ala! I'm as human as everybody; constantly caught between material needs and desire
However rich you are, you need some food & water ; Too much rich foods is the surest route to illness
However poor you are you need to survive to see the next sunrise ; excesses are always bad
Change your ways/minds and you change your life
You become what you think/decide
I am in a flux; can't do nothing & struggling to do something
Trying to earn my keeps, I guess
Is this called 'mid-life crisis? Umm, but I have passed mid-life long ago...
I have my fair share of successes and failures and I hardly blame anyone nor any circumstances
Neither do I believe in Fate [If I ever believe in Providence, I'd like to write my own page]
My backbreaking toil, honesty, diligent & earnest learnings and street-wisdom shall bear fruits
I may not be able to achieve every thing but I shall harvest whatever is/are delivered
Reality is always cruel and harsh; Providence is a 'chance' meeting opportunity
My efforts are genuine and 'bulkbuilding'; a day at a time, a little add to abundance
Some day soon, I will succeed on my own terms

Success Is No Coincidence
there is cause & effect...
We decided to clean up our garden and plant flowering & fruits plants; the results are astonishing
We get dragonflies, butterflies, birds and...bees visiting
The smells of nectar must be the attraction
Our little fish urn is teeming with fishes & fries
Those little pots of plants I experimented are also growing
In total, Spring arrived and re-arrives
The sight of flowers, birds, bees, butterflies, dragonflies..
Even chameleon calms the mind and soothes the Soul
Nature - the natural surrounding must be enhanced
Harnessing the cosmic force gives peace 风水balance
Nature must be protected and manifested, not contaminated
If everyone adds alittle more care
The share will be humongous and positive
The environment needs a relieve
What we think, we become
It's not unlike sowing of seeds; you can't get mangoes, if you plant durian seeds
If you are armed and in battleground, do you expect your enemy to be merciful? Perhaps, but...
Winning friends and lesser friends is better than adding one foe more
The world is filled with love but Human, through selfish plots and schemes, create hierarchy to dominate the food-chain...
Animal Farm and survive of the fittest prevail
Attack is the best defense is the surest way to create more animosity
Israel is bent of attacking and destroying anyone who desire eliminating Israel
The exodus of Mid-East Muslims is a result of the West military machines destroying their homes
Islamic extremists & jihadists, without sophisticated weapons, are responding with body-strapped human-bombs in their hometown likewise
MAD ~ Mutual Assured Destruction ~ This is the nuclear doctrine of deterrence
Worry not; you & I
Someday, when the world ends or should end, you and I will be part of the destruction but nowhere in the decision

Everything Ends...
the March is coming to an end...
Many have wings but can't fly ~ penguins, chickens, ducks, dodos
Some have eyes but can't see ~ bats, platypus
Many have brains but never think ~ humans
The world is getting more selfish, elitist, uncaring, greedy such that the 'best' are milking the less-able
The many who 'made it' are guarding and hoarding their gains
Lip-service is a norm & NIMBY (Not In My BackYard) is a given
Numerous doctors read the 'Hippocratic Oath' and became hypocrites
Accountants prepare 'doctored' numbers that is hardly 'true & fair'
Auditors' audit report at best they can; finding frauds is accidental, much depends on 'who is the paymaster'
Political loyalists infringe on the Laws of the Land with impunity
Survival of the Fittest & Rules of the Jungle rule
Society cracks when there is oppression, suppression and covert elimination of opposing voices
Where discontent is voiced, there is an allowance for ventilation of frustration
Gross income inequality coupled with elitists indifference is the sure fire to anarchy
The rich cannot live in a sea of poor
The commoners are only eking and seeking out a dignified living, not fame, money nor power
The American Revolutionary War (The American Revolutionary War had its origins in the resistance of many Americans to taxes), the Bolshevik Revolution (socialism was born because the 'HAVEs' ignore the plights of the 'HAVE-NOTs'), the Cultural Revolution was an attempt to 'hold-on' to political power & the Jasmin Revolution (started innocently when a graduate, illegal hawker dosed himself with oil and set fire after being bullied by the State-police)

Let us 'care & share' and spare some thoughts and penny to the less fortunate, less able and less mobile

I'd like to look back without, or with little, regrets, if any
When my journey is over, I'd like to be remembered as the "Mr CAN"; the incurable positive
My fair share of defeats and glory stop when the March ends
Today is the last day of March....2016, not the end of my march
